The whole idea for Malachite Idol began as I was sitting with a pad of graph paper making this map old-school style. It is a two story harem interior which can be fit into a palace or other large building. It includes a large chamber for entertaining guests, two small chambers for “entertaining” guests, and facilities sufficient to support roughly two to three dozen full time inhabitants, live-in support staff, and space for one of the three guard rotations to bunk inside. Also clothing is forbidden past the screen at the entrance. I have a concept for a book on the back burner for how to build a campaign with the harem as a home base/community with plot hooks and so on, so maybe someday you’ll see more of this place! The files below include four maps each labeled and unlabeled versions of the top and bottom floors of the map for roll20, foundry, and fantasy grounds.
